1. Weak Wi-Fi Signal

A weak Wi-Fi signal is one of the main reasons why the Ring doorbell can stuck. If the software cannot connect to the network and transfer data to the users, then sometimes the doorbell is stuck and tries to connect to the Wi-Fi.

The signal gets weaker if there are multiple devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network. When the available bandwidth gets divided among many devices, the doorbell has a tough time connecting to the Wi-Fi.
